Product Overview
Cementitious capillary crystalline waterproof coating is a gray powder material formulated by using ordinary portland cement as the base material and incorporating active chemical components. It is applied by brushing or spraying onto concrete surfaces or mortar waterproof layer surfaces. Active chemicals in the coating penetrate concrete interiors with water, reacting with unhydrated cement particles and calcium hydroxide from hydration to form insoluble needle - like, fibrous, and reticular crystals (e.g., calcium silicate hydrate, calcium aluminate hydrate). These crystals fill and block concrete pores and micro - cracks. Active chemicals keep penetrating inward with water, continuously reacting to form crystals, blocking water - seepage channels. This gives concrete good density and waterproof performance, achieving waterproofing and impermeability.
Scope of Application
Widely used in waterproofing for water - conservancy and hydropower projects (tunnels, dams, reservoirs, power plants, nuclear power plants, cooling towers, underground tunnels, overpasses, bridges, underground continuous walls, airport runways, head - based culverts, sewage treatment plants) , water pools, basements/roofs of industrial & civil buildings, kitchen - bathroom gaps. Also for maintaining all structural defects of reinforced concrete buildings.
Product Features
- Apply at normal temperature. Not suitable for construction under sub - zero temps, rain, fog, wind, sand, etc.
- Use clean water for mixing and curing; avoid turbid sewage.
- Construct on initially - strong concrete/mortar surfaces. Ensure the base is clean, free of floating dust, old paint, dust, dirt, release agent, and debris.
- For cement - based product concrete, check for structural defects (honeycombing, pitting, cracks). Repair defects before construction.
- Pay special attention to treating pipe roots, internal and external corners, construction joints during project work. Reinforce these areas with additional layers.
- The coating has good adhesion. Works well on smooth/rough, dry/wet, horizontal/vertical, water - accumulated surfaces, with waterproof effect unaffected by base - surface shapes.
- Good permeability. Penetrates concrete interiors, reacts to form crystals, blocking pores/micro - cracks, enhancing concrete density and waterproof performance.
