Product Overview
APP Modified Bitumen Membrane is a plastic body-modified bitumen waterproofing membrane produced using advanced technology. It utilizes APP (atactic polypropylene) or APAO/APO (polyolefin polymer)-modified bitumen as the coating material, reinforced with high-quality polyester fleece or fiberglass mat substrates, and surfaced with fine sand, mineral granules (flakes), or a PE film.
Product Features
Excellent Impermeability: Superior water resistance.
High Crack Bridging Ability: Exceptional elongation, dimensional stability, and adaptability to substrate shrinkage, deformation, and cracking.
Temperature-Specific Performance: SBS-modified variants are suitable for lower-temperature environments, while APP-modified variants perform optimally in higher-temperature climates.
Durability: Resistant to heat, humidity, low temperatures, chemicals, wear, and weathering.
Ease of Installation: Compatible with hot-applied methods and cold-bonding techniques, ensuring reliable bonding strength.
Applications
Critical waterproofing projects, and waterproofing/anti-dampness for roofs, walls, basements, and bathrooms in industrial and civil structures.
Waterproofing for bridges, roads, parking lots, swimming pools, tunnels, and reservoirs.
Protection and wrapping for pipelines and anti-corrosion layers, as well as moisture barrier applications.
Particularly suitable for structures prone to deformation and in cold regions.
